Laura Humphreys

Laura Humphries was born January 3rd, 1989 in Queens, New York. She acquired her B.S. degree in Economics with a minor in Psychology from the University of West Georgia. After college, Laura wanted to find a career where she would have purpose. She knew she wanted to work in a field that was exciting, and required traveling, yet rooted in self-discovery. She found this exact combination in 2015, when she began working for Delta Airlines as a flight attendant. Beginning in 2018 she embarked on a new journey to become a Black female pilot. Although Laura is thriving in her pursuit of piloting, she is extremely committed to evoking social change, and eradicating gender and racial biases in the field of piloting.
